Death with Dignity: Trail Version

I was astounded by all the old people being taken up this trail I was on over Easter holiday. A couple of these seniors were very old and they looked wobbly. This trail (as you can see from the picture) is not the trail to be on if you are wobbly! A good portion of it is carved right into the side of a rock cliff and the trail surface is rock and uneven.

What were these families thinking dragging poor old grandma up this trail that will surely be the death of her? But then it occurred to me…that is exactly the point!

Yes, tired of high costs of assisted living or other retirement homes?

Is it a hassle having to go visit grandma or grandpa every weekend?

Are you worried about funeral costs?

Try the new “Death with Dignity” trail edition! Simply bring grandma or grandpa up the Eagle Creek hiking trail and let nature work it out for herself. If they come back then they clearly aren’t ready for a home anyway and if they don’t, well, think of all the cost savings!

Oh…and for a limited time we’ll throw in a pair of really slippery shoes. Guaranteed to put them over the edge!
