Wednesday Wonderings

Ok, I woke up and checked Yahoo to find the news blurb "Paris Hilton Due to Break Her Silence". WTF? When was she silent? She'd talked to more people in jail than I talk to on my birthday. What happened to the one phone call thing? Can't we do like one of those gas station boycotts and have the world boycott anything about Paris for one day?

Hey what is with Starbucks having a record label? And not only having one but having Paul McCartney join it? This is a Beatle folks, not some upstart unknown. What does record label have to do with selling coffee anyway? I know, why not have Nike come out with a line of high performane vacuums to "just do it"! It would make about the same amount of sense to me.

Now here is genious marketing for you. Have you seen these Go-Tarts? They are Pop Tarts that you can take with you. Like the originals were so big and unweildly that you couldn't take them on the run? Are you kidding me? All they did was change the size slightly.

Anyone else followed the problem with the honey bees? Apparently we've lost one quarter of our honey bee population. The worker bees just fly away from the hive and never return. Hmmm....let's examine this: A lifetime of working for a queen without benefits or vacation. I wonder why they would do that????

I'd be willing to do all the grunt work in organizing a Paris Boycott. It's time.

As for the Go-Tarts, Paris, Lindsey, and Britney would make the perfect spokespersons. And then when people started getting sick off the Tarts -- AND the tarts -- that would be the end of that.

Those Go-Tarts are great! I used to be stuck at home, sitting by the package of PopTarts, waiting for the mood to strike me, but now I'm free to leave the house. With my box of Go-Tarts under my arm, I can go anywhere! I'm not saying that I will, just that I can.

I refuse to blog about "her", I just can't do it.

Coffee and Paul...of course it makes sense...er, um, no it doesn't!

WTF on the Go-Tarts, really, I mean, the other one's were already that! I always ate them cold.

Just because you ARE the vacation king...

Clearly the bees got a better deal elsewhere ;-)
I give up on Starbucks and their marketing crap they do.
Paris...bah!
And I eat pop-tarts every morning...in my car...it's amazing I haven't died yet!

sj - Tarts for tarts...I like it!

kurt - No wonder your last trip was so difficult. How did you survive lugging those original pop tarts around...

shawna - You probably like cold pizza for breakfast too! I toast my tarts and then have a patented way of folding them into a sheet of paper towel that keeps the second one hidden and the first one out in a sort of pocket/pouch. It's pop art!

lbb - Yes, I will convert others to my way! LOL

arlene - What flavor? I was always partial to the non-frosted blueberry but then 'the man' took them away from me. Damn them!

Also, airline food: what is the deal with it?

Oh yes, can we please ALL boycott Paris. I'm so sick of the media giving her any attention. Just because one has money, doesn't make one news worthy.

What I hate more than Go-Tarts is their advertising campaign...dreadful! Finally bees are standing up and leaving the queen bitch to some work for a change! Starbucks is also introducing a "deli" or sorts...why don't they just buy everything!

I like cold pizza any time of the day actually! And I also put ranch dressing on it, cold OR hot. YUMMMMMY!
