Random Thoughts for the Day

Sometimes I just think of weird things and then you have to suffer reading about them. Occasionally they aren’t long enough for a full suffering in the form of a post and so I just throw them into one of these and make you suffer anyway.

Here goes:

I don’t understand regret. I mean, I never got to gret in the first place. Why would I want to regret?

I see Imus will be back on the radio again. Ouch, call somebody a nappy-headed ho and you get 6 months off with a 10-20 million contract after that. I immediately tried this same technique at work and got remanded to the HR department for psychiatric evaluation.

The wrapper said “Recycled Toilet Paper”. For an instance I thought “Man, that’s just gross!” and then realized they meant that the toilet paper was made from recycled paper not specifically recycled TP!

Last summer I found a bottle of aspirin in my cabin that expired in 1974. That might be a stretch to continue to use… Then my girlfriend found some tile cleaner at my house that expired in 1994. “Cleaners actually expire?” were my exact words. Who read that crap? Real men don’t read expiration labels (or manuals)! Live with it.

So that was only the first time you got reprimanded to HR? I must say I'm a little surprised.

A few months ago I unknowingly ate oatmeal that expired in 1992.

And I don't think Imus even went on an apology tour.

This reminds me of the Urkel-Os in Steve Don't Eat It.

Did they even make aspirin in 1974?

jeff - I never actually SAID that was my first time to HR though...

bottleblonde - I would think you have to add a LOT of brown sugar to that oatmeal (along with a stomach pump)

kurt - That's too bad, you could have shaken his hand too and had another auction!!!

camille - Funny!

mr. fabulous - Are you kidding me? That's when "Seasons in the Sun" was popular. They HAD to have!
