Every song has its moment. I’m not talking about tying a song to an emotional event here. I’m just saying that you can synch up specific lyrics to an event that just fits. It doesn’t have to have anything to do with the real content of the song.
Think I’m full of it? Then here, I present you with a few lyric offerings:
1. Dan Hill – Sometimes When we Touch (1978) 2. The Beatles – Do you Want to Know a Secret (1963)
3. Diana Ross – Theme From Mahogany (1975)
4. Bob Dylan – It Ain’t Me, Babe (1965)
5. Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop til you Get Enough (1979)
6. Gloria Estefan – I Don’t Want to Lose you (1989)

Groundhog Day? Lethal Weapon?
Ain't it in a lot of movies?
"Don't wanna lose you now" was purrrrrrrrrrfect! :)
Niiiiice, I like the Elliot Spitzer one best, I could just hear the ooohwaoooh in there. Look at his wife standing next to him. She should be behind him with her foot up his ass. Or at her attorney's office!
Ground Hog day is correct, CHT.
Nice VE.
ok, the movie was already ID'd so i'll just say it was spoken by the dweeby insurance agent.
loving the last pairing of song to image! i think i need to print that out and give it to the husband.
That cruel summer one should have featured a picture of every butterball's worst vacation nightmare.....FAT CAMP!
Watch that first step. It's a DOOZIE!
teri - Yep, you got it. Ground Hog Day
red mojo - Yeah, I don't see how she can stand there
heyjoe - You got it too. Guess that one was too easy.
lime - Dweeby insurance agent would be correct! It took me awhile to find that particular image...
elasticwaistbandlady - I learned from Diesel at Matress Police...don't really pick on the fat people...
heyjoe - Another CLASSIC!
Every time I see that dweeby actor, I think, "Omigod! That's Ned Ryerson!"
Yes, I think you're full of it. Or was that a rhetorical question?
How did you get a picture of my belly?????
teri - Yeah, he was in Sneakers and played a dork too
kurt - It's been building up for I don't know how long...
arizona - Now see, if that is you, then the lyrics are VERY appropriate
I suggest a follow-up post using film titles.
alan - Good idea. Imagine what image I might use for Mash?
You could have gone a totally different way with Jacko.
Are you slippin? -d
Instead of bonus points for knowing this, you should bar anyone who DOESN'T know it from reading your blog. I would.
Not bad for a quadruped.
damon - That's very true. It did occur to me though...I just chose the safer route for a Saturday.
jonah - That's a good way to look at it. Everyone SHOULD know this movie by heart and there will be a test on it.
I have no idea what that was all about. I guess I better rent "Ground Hog Day." Does it have busty Chinese chicks in it?
The Dan Hill pic represents my husband's way of secretly telling me he loves me. He loves me a lot!:)
bunk - How could you have missed Groundhog Day? That's insane!
sprinkle - Hah. That's too funny.
These are funny! Don't know how long it takes you to pull this stuff together, but it's very enjoyable as an audience member!
:-)
Groundhog Day, yeah, but now I'm never going to be able to hear those songs again without seeing those pictures in my head.:)
Happy Easter!!
christine - Some take longer than others. Depends whether I have to do any fancy photoshop work or not.
sj - Sorry about that...but the same applies to me; and you know how misery loves company...
leelee - Happy Easter to you too. And to all my blog friends!
For some reason I can't actually tell what "Don't wanna lose you now" is a picture of. Help me out...
Jeff ~ Isn't it keys hanging on a chain link fence?
I was laughing all the way through these - I laughed the hardest at the last one "Don't Worry Baby."
I liked the way you started us off with a bang on picture #2
Where do you get your ideas??
The honesty's too much! Hilarious.
jeff - Teri is right, it's a set of car keys...not something you want to lose at the beach
teri - Thanks, you got it right
hale - Thanks. That was my favorite one.
nyd - I knew I couldn't resist doing something with that story...
jacki - This one just sort of popped in while I was listening to the radio and that silly Dan Hill song came on the radio.
dale - That's the one that started all of these...
