Sheesh...what happened to all the time I had on my hands? Pictures of the chaos to come...you actually have to get out of the chaos to present the chaos...
But apparently, others have a wee bit more time on their hands than I do...and there pretty talented too.
This is exactly what happens when you are pretty artistic and have too much time on your hands…

OMG I love the cherry tomato Shepard and his cauliflower flock..
amazing!!!
hugs!!
wow, more time for those hands! who made those? i'm in love.
I admire the creativity but cannot comprehend the patience.
And I've had too many years of being told (and saying), "Eat your food, don't play with it."
Wow.
I couldn't do that with all the time in the world.
i guess I should call myself lucky to be talentless and no spare time. There would be fruit peels everywhere.
Yeah, thanks VE - now I've got that $%#&@ Styx song stuck in my head, LOL!
Thank you for sharing these.
leelee - They are definitely cool looking...until they rot that is
amarilla - Yes, they are very good...but don't leave them on display too long...
beth - Ha! Me too. This was definitely playing with your food!
teri - Exactly!
incredible woody - Yeah, I'd just squander it like usual
dee - You're probably like me...talented enough to eat them...
roy - Wow, that one totally slipped by me...thanks for putting it in MY head now!
kurt - You're welcome...it's the least I could do...and right now doing the least seems to be all I can manage...
butchering the poor fruit n veg like that - shocking :-(
quickroute - Don't worry...it all rots away!
The tomato and the cauliflowers are hilarious...
Are the lemons committing some kind of juicide?
Good heavens, that's some imaginative looking food! And some of them are just plain scary. I'd be afraid to show any interest in eating them for fear they'd kill me in my sleep. I like the banana, though.:)
I have a real problem with songs getting stuck in my head so I put a new widget on my sidebar that shows the latest earbug I'm suffering from. Now thanks to this post, I'll be able to change it.
...and it's ticking away at my sanity...
I have no words....
Well some ones time has been fruit full... oh, man thats terrible isnt it, I should leave the puns to the experts.
Wow...I definitly wouldn't have the patience.
But on Martha Stewart the other day there was a 25-year old girl who ran a 6-figure business just from sewing rag dolls and selling them on the internet for $40 each.
So I don't knock stupid or silly ideas anymore.
michelle ann - Those lemons...their just sour pusses
sj - But you could count the sheep!
jeff - Glad I could provide you with an obnoxious song tune. I'll keep thinking of new ones.
carlae - I have words...they're just random and jumbled. I could sell you a few...
alex - Ouch. Don't PUNish us like that!
Cool! Love the watermelon one. Reminds me of Bent Objects...
Some of these remind me of the films of Jan Svankmajer.
wow, if those are actually carved and constructed as opposed to photoshopped i think it's pretty darned impressive!
I love these!
Is that Michael Phelps in that watermellon?
I'm going to be seeing that watermelon dude in my dreams.
It's a mad, mad world.
I too like the sheep the best.
I love these pictures, but yes, too much time. Wish I had time for such artistic endeavors.
someone has to do it... wish I had the time...
OMG!! I've seen these before, but they are completely hysterical!!!
I like the orange one. Did the same person do all of these?
:-)
I didn't know you got married!
Congratulations!!!! Why weren't there any pics?
Beautiful hardwoods. Wishing you two every happiness (will there be lil v's in the future?)
:-)
maureen - I bend objects all the time...I don't mean too...I'm clumsy
alan smithee - Who's that? I don't get out much...
lime - I think they're really carved.
arizona - They are fun
uncivil - I think Michael would be the banana one...
diesel - He is kind of ominous, isn't he?
megan - No...it's a mad, mad, mad, world. You forgot one mad! ;)
carla - I know the feeling about time. I can barely keep up my blogging right now
sunshine - I wish I had the skill
chris - I'm not sure if it was the same person. Probably not. Yes...I did get married in July. You're just going to have to get out here more often! ha ha. No more little VE's...there are already two running around and I've been tutored since!!!
Those are too freakin' cool!! You have inspired my artistic sensibilities once again and I thank you!
That watermelon is oddly creeeeepy.
sprinkle4 - Well that is a good thing then...you've got the artistic talent!
padraig - I have never trusted watermelon. You just don't really know whats in them!
I grew up living next door to a Japanese family, and the little girl and I played together often. At our playdates, her mother would carve apples into rabbits and serve them as a snack. A quite impressive (but useless?) talent.
Wow...Those are really clever and well done. Cheers VE!!
The citrus pieces are cool.
haha some of those were a little scary
colby - Impressive...but could she pull a rabbit out of her hat?
matt-man - And we didn't even create them...what's up with that?
anne - Anything you can do with citrus is pretty cool
sarah - Yes, particularly the watermelon one. I just don't trust watermelons...
Very cool. I found some cute vegetable art on youtube, if you copy and paste this link:
