"Never too Late" my ass...

Those tricksters over at Theme Thursday. I didn't get this week's topic until Tuesday and had only two days to come up with something. The theme? LATE

You know, there's this old saying: "Never too Late"

That's all fine and well but I've confirmed with the gnomes and we disagree. Here's my visual evidence to support that:

And this last one really doesn't need a comment, does it?

I rest my case...

Lookee here, I am not late. Haha.

Dang! Sherry beat me. But I'm #2 cause she's not 2-3-4 and 5.

That frickin' George never listens!

I was over on OPE visiting Kurt, and then I came back to stare at that last picture because I just wasn't getting it. It took a while but I finally got it.

Now I am left to wonder if the kids are still alive or if they drowned. Too much thinking going on with trying to measure the distance that the wave traveled, and the velocity as to the timing of when it would wash over their heads, and then if it would recede fast enough, so that when they gulped for more air, if the water would still be there or not. But it is hard to measure the distance. I am gonna get my slide rule out again.

God bless.

I'm late as usual, but earlier than most?

mrsupole - Apparently not...we won't have to put you in the sand...

ronda - I have a feeling you know a few George types out there...

mrsupole - Not all is as it seems. I think in this case its just a nice photoshop effort...

uncivil - You're right there in the early middle. How's that for being vague?

dee - That tells me you have a twisted sense of humor. Oh wait, you visit my blog...never mind...

monica - I think the puker survived much to her disappointment...

moooooog35 - Ha! It looks like your signature work. You got that from Creep Show, didn't you?

candie - Don't worry...objects in the background are closer than they appear...the girls will grow up to terrorize men in relationships just fine...

brian - See...now you're thinking twice about letting your kids do that rollercoaster bike ride...

elizabeth - Yes, the IRS is definitely one to sing that Carole King song, "It's too late baby, it's too late..."

Quirkyloon said...

Is it too late to think of puppies and rainbows?

Between wanting to hurl (courtesy of your pic) and then fearing for the life of the little girls in the sand (again courtesy of VE), I feel like I was on an emotional rollercoaster (again courtesy of VE).

HA!

Perpetual Chocoholic said...

I have to say, I disagree about it being too late for the couple in the truck hanging from the cliff. What a picture they could get out of that!

That last picture gives me the willies and re: the vomit one, you've got it......

EWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

Roy Scribner said...

Dangit! 14 comments before 7:00 AM - I'm late again.

VE said...

quirkyloon - I was waiting for my puppies and rainbows request. Finally!

perpetual chocoholic - Ha! True on the pic...and yeah, I scored another ewwwww...I think I have more of those than mrsupole has firsts...

roy - Yeah, I post at 12:05am for Theme Thursdays...and it's hard to beat mrsupole...

Some wonderful images, guaranteed to bring a smile. Happy TT.

Good Lord, I thought having a deer come through your windshield was bad.

The chick laying in puke, makes me wanna puke. lol

Jill said...

I really love this one...had to make myself look at the VOMIT one...gross!!! I'm with R.J. see the stuff= produce the stuff!!!

EXCELLENT TT!

VE said...

kurt - Gotta do something with all that material. It would be a shame to let it go to waste. Hey...you could have at least changed your photo if you didn't want to keep OPE...

angelmay - It's time to dispell some of the myths that mythbusters haven't bothered with...

alan - Well...until the vomit one that is...

RJ - Aren't you glad I'm willing to take you slightly over the edge with some material...

jill - Just scroll down and catch the Julie Andrews parody. That'll ruin all thoughts of the vomit photo...

Stephanie said...

Very fun

Wings said...

Zoinks! I think have an entire HORSE in your windshield would be a good excuse for being late.

!

Tom said...

oh no! That guy killed Mr. Ed.

Anne said...

you keep posting puke pics, i'll quit visiting.

JeffScape said...

Thanks for the laughs! I'm gonna have to bookmark some of these.

ReformingGeek said...

EEEWWWW! I'm with Quirky. Puppies and rainbows, please.

I do like the roller coaster photo and I hope that guy never finds the bodies I've buried. ;-)

Jeff said...

I don't know what is grosser, that puddle of puke or that guy's hand in the first picture. WTF?

Janna said...

Hey, at least rollercoaster girl is wearing a helmet.
That's gotta count for something, right?

And I bet that truck driver is really glad he was towing a boat, since it's the only thing that kept him from plummeting ALL the way down the cliff.

Gladys said...

You forgot to put the picture of the girl who peed her pants in her sleep. She waited too late to go...:)

Matty said...

Points well made. Sometimes it is too late.

VE said...

stephanie - Thanks

wings - I'd give it a shot...but you know how dense bosses are (and horses too...look at that damage)

tom - Ha! I wondered why they cancelled that show. I just thought there was a glue shortage at the time...

janna - Are you suggesting boats are good anchors on land?

gladys - If I'd put that one on there I'd have too many puppies and rainbow requests...

matty - But not for a comment! Thanks...
anne - Now Anne...you know I'm going to do something stupid from time to time. Don't worry...I have mellow stuff on the way...

jeffscape - Bookmark away!

reforminggeek - I just knew there'd be a high demand for puppies and rainbows after this. Oh, and I hear what's buried in Texas STAYS buried in Texas (unless it's oil that is)

jeff - Maybe his hand is why SHE never asked him out...

VE said...

janna - Are you suggesting a boat is a good land anchor?

gladys - If I put that one out here too I'd have too many puppies and rainbows requests...

matty - But it's never too late for comments!

The throw up one was disgusting, ok, and funny.

That last one is a testament to Darwin's Theory.

Thumbs up for the spew.

TheWordWire said...

Well said. The last one's my favorite. Thanks for the laugh.

Kelley @ magnetoboldtoo said...

Never too late to comment?

Apparently not.

VE said...

nessa - You mean Darwin buried them in there?

kris - Apparently two thumbs up at that!

thewordwire - You're welcome

kelley - Sneaky...but I ALWAYS get the last word here!

Unfinished Rambler said...

Well, if there is such a thing as never too late, here I am. :)

Agree with others on the spew one...didn't need to say that. And was the guy's name really "Jesus John." Two of my favorite biblical characters, well, next to Methusaleh, all wrapped up in one.

Megan said...

I'm way late. Busy weekend. I can't get my head around that one with the horse. Did that really happen?

Baino said...

Nothing like a little delayed gratification and as usual . . .you deliver! @ Megan . . oh yes it did!

Maureen said...

You really need a warning before some of those photos... ick.

VE said...

unfinished rambler - Ha! No, his name wasn't "Jesus John"...he was just using the Lord's name in vain...

megan - Do you REALLY want your head around that horse. It might be messy...

baino - Thanks. Hey...was that your horse?

maureen - You know how the gnomes like to sicken you without notice...

Jaime said...

it's been awhile since you totally grossed me out...but that pic of vomit woman did it

VE said...

jaime - Yes...I knew I could cross the line once again...
