VE will save you money on your water habit

You know what I have a problem with? A 12oz bottled water sells for $1.25 and a 12oz soda can be bought for as little as 40 cents if you buy it on sale. You mean I have to pay extra for the bad crap?

So I decided to do something about it. Introducing VE’s soda can filter. Yes, now you too can buy soda at a much reduced price and just slap on my filter and enjoy clean filtered water at half the price.

The great part is you can buy the crappiest brand of soda out there. Get the store brand that nobody buys; they’re practically giving it away!

Sure…it’s stupid to pay for water but face it, we’re all too lazy to actually prepare before we do something and so nobody wants to lug around water all day. Instead, just slip the filter into your pocket and when you want some water, grab a can of soda, slap on the filter and enjoy!

Plus, you don’t have to get cancer from the leeching plastic water bottle anymore! Bonus.

It does make one wonder why they do not do water in a can instead of in a bottle. But it is because they make all their profit on selling the bottle. The actual water in the bottle probably costs about 5 cents. The rest of the money is spent on shipping and the filtering of the water.

We need to push for water in a can. Or just get a water filter and fill up the Rubbermaid Sports Bottles. They work great and are cheaper than constantly buying bottled water.

Water cans, water cans, water cans, I am ranting and raving to protest the water bottles. I want my water cans.

God bless.

Now that is NOT fantastical nonsense!

Brilliant!

And I have the perfect name for your new product:

The VEH20. Pronounced veh-two-oh (short e not long).

Catchy, no? *smile*

You're so smart VE.

Amazingly, people would probably buy it!

Hum....can the filter be adapted to be used on the sink tap?

;-)

I think you're on to something here. Too bad the patent process is such a royal pita. I can't figure out why people keep buying and tossing old water bottles though. If you simply threw them in a box and then refilled them and put them back in your refrigerator, wouldn't that get you the same result and be totally free? I guess the convenience of not having to run your sink for 10 seconds is pretty costly.

Now, if you could only invent a soda filter that would take out all the calories, but still make Dr Pepper taste like Dr Pepper.

It was certainly interesting for me to read the article. Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon.

"anonymous" sounds totally smitten with such topics and anything connected to them....

(don't you dare remove the spam VE or my comment won't make any sense)

mrsupole - Yes, there are a lot of options you can do from home; but rarely do people prepare. They would rather buy one on the go. With my filter on them, they can go for the cheap soda and still get refreshing filtered water.

nessa - I'd be a gazillionaire if I had initiative at all...

quirkyloon - I like it! You could be my marketing manager!

perpetual chocoholic - Probably too smart for my own good. Now if I weren't also so lazy...

reforminggeek - I'm sure we could come up with a small adapter for that...

jeff - People are lazy! They want instant and they want convenience...

catladylarew - There in lies the rub...

anon - "That blog"? Is that like the old TV series "that Girl"? Spammers...

nursemyra - I was gonna do it just to mess with ya...but in the end, I'm actually a nice guy...(the gnomes are shaking their head in disappointment)

Very interesting, sounds like a product that would pay for itself in no time!
Oh, and I too would like to read more on that blog soon.

Oh VE just drink out of the toilet it would be the same difference

I would buy one of those.

My dog agrees with Gladys. Maybe I should give it a try too.

Y'know V.E., this just could work. I mean the price of aluminun is in the toilet and co2 is cheap, as well. Think of the profit margins( unfortunately the added benzine will cut into that~~ref. Polar Beverages )...

This might work.

Where's Billy Mays when you need him?

Oh. Yeah. Right.

Dead.

elizabeth - I don't think the soda companies would think too highly of my product though...

uncivil - I hear ya...

gladys - I only have one thing to say about that: Like my peanut butter...I like my water smooth, not chunky.

megan - Cool...one advanced sale...

ronda - I've got a comment for that...see my reply to gladys

subtorp77 - Hey, you're back! Hated seeing you slip off your meteor rise on the blog roll...

moooooog35 - He must have drunk too many sodas...

I no longer have to get cancer or die of thirst? Woohoo!

Result.

V.E., back on-line but not fully bacxk in the loop( so to speak ). Just found out I have to change servers when I move, as I can't get the samer one in the new place, so hopefully I'll be up 100% by first week of Dec. Maybe I should try one of the Coke cans~LOL!

Brilliant. But does the water that comes from that can taste like Classic Water???

Because I hate the taste of New Water.... yuk.

And, you can recycle the aluminum can!

Brilliant!

Thoughts:

1) The "Smooth-Not-Chunky" toilet water comment made me gag. :P

2) Can I have a Mountain Dew attachment instead? Or maybe a Strawberry Crush attachment...?

3) "Thanks for it. I like such topics and anything connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon."

4) Tonight I re-discovered that Arby's gives me gas.

Makes perfect sense to me.:)

chris - I knew you'd be bummed about death and all...it just messes up all your plans...

subtorp77 - It'll be good to have you back online! What a fiasco...

maureen - I know what you mean. Plus, do they have diet water?

mama zen - That's right...I'm as green as they come...I even recycled girlfriends...

janna - Just because Arby's gives you gas doesn't mean you have to take it! Oh...and that's what you get for reading my replies (the chunky ref)

serena - Most of my whacky inventions do...
