A Whiter Shade of Theme Thursday

The Theme Thursday this week is WHITE. Let’s not write another epic novel of a post. Let’s do something more visual…

White or Black, why can't we all get some color in here.

God bless.

This is the goodest thing I've seen all day.

Technically, shouldn't the Michelin Man be black?

nursemyra said...

I've been confused ever since Jack Black went from being a figure of fun to a leading man......

Geez, VE, that was a comprehensive overview. Guess you could say you covered my first, my last, my everything.

Hmmmm... I think it takes an act of Congress or a Constitutional Amendment to change the color of the White House.

No Good Humor guy in his white suit? I'm disappointed.

Nah, I'm really not, LOL!

Betsy said...

Lol....OOdozo has a point there!

I never thought about painting The White House.

Crap, now I'll be obsessed with the idea for the next 30 years. Thank you very much, VE, you bastard.

I think your white about all of them things.

(Yeah, I'm in middle management, myself.)

This is hilarious and probably one of the best I've seen on the theme. Pretty cool.

One white feature of modern life that I dislike is the whiteboard, which has unfortunately replaced the much more interactive and versatile blackboard in offices and schools everywhere.

Monkey Man said...

If white is the presence of all color and black is the absence of color, then how come black uses all the printer ink?

Tom said...

if i get to DC and everything is painted black, i'm gonna freak! we'll all be bumping into stuff at night...

Janna said...

MonkeyMan's comment just made my brain explode.

Elizabeth said...

Can't we all just get along?

Betty said...

If Jackson Pollock were still alive, I'd fancy letting him decorate the White House! Great post.

Roy Scribner said...

What can I do? I-I-I-I-I, I'm feelin' blue.

Mrsupole – One does want a hint of color!

Cheryl – I’m glad you can do managementspeak…

00dozo – Good point…but actually, rubber tires were originally white and they are all colored to be black because black wears less…see how educational my blog is!

Nursemyra – Where exactly is he leading us though?

Nonamedufus – That sounds like a song from the 70s…

Roy – Well no wonder it’s never gotten finished…

Sharonheg – That would have been a good one…or Mr. Clean…or Stay Puft…or…

Betsy – Refer to my history lesson comment to her…

Anthonynorth – You’re PUNishing me…

Subby – I know…huge oversight…he had other commitments though

Padraig – Thirty years isn’t that long…why I remember high school like I was in prison yesterday…

Catladylarew – You are PUNishing me too!

Poetic shutterbug – I usually go the way not trodden with these themes…

Jeffscape – Makes you think…not sure about what though

Tracy – Who doesn’t?

Reforminggeek – Actually, I had a guinea pig named Mr. Brown…

Brian – That’s what I’m here for…

Harnett-hargrove – It’s my speciality…

Brian – Sorry Brian, I love the white board for some reason…less friction when writing on it…

Moondustwriter – Ridiculousness? That’s what you were going to add, wasn’t it? You can admit it…

Monkey man – I thought it was the opposite? It still doesn’t explain the printer ink dilemma…

Tom – But we’d have entertaining YouTube videos of it…

Janna – I know…printers are a source of confusion…PC LOAD LETTER my ass!

Elizabeth – Apparently not…just ask the inlaws…

Betty – Now that would be interesting…

Roy – No blue house in the capitol though…

Anne – I agree…and a better singing voice…

Lime – There should be a website out there where we all can customize our own paint designs for it…

Incredible woody – I’ll bet $100 he does…

Dreamhaven – I agree…

Gab – There you go…if only it were that simple. But then we get into preferences and tastes and traditions and well, there you go…

Dennis – Is that a lyric quote?

Lettuce – Thanks

Perpetual chocoholic – Diplomatic white (don’t look it up…I made it up…)

Jaime – And for good reason…
