Messing around with the Movie Ticket People

It's fun to mess with people.  No, nothing harmful that will take $28,000 worth of therapy to get over.  Just harmless amusement...

So we were at the movie theater the other day and, hey, if I'm going to shell out $12 a ticket, I deserve the right to mess with them.  Here's how to have some fun...

(VE walks up to ticket counter)

VE:  I'd like to buy two tickets for Star Wars 7, please

Minimum Wage Ticket Seller looks blankly and confused...

Ticket Seller:  I'm sorry sir, that movie hasn't been made yet

VE shiftily looks right and left as if he's actually thinking and nervous...

VE:  Wait, what year is this?

Minimum Wage Ticket Seller continues looking blankly.  It could be why they earn minimum wage but it could be they are trying to process what is going on...

Ticket Seller:  2013, sir

VE:  Oh...hmm...ok...then I'll take two tickets for Star Trek 2.

Go try it for yourself.  It'll make that $25 tub of GMO popcorn and fake butter just a little more satisfying (ok, probably not but at least you will get the satisfaction of messing with them)

Well you know that time travel is a more accepted way of traveling these days. I mean think about how the other science fiction crap that has come true, so what's a little time traveling movie viewer supposed to do. Probably blew his mind.

God bless.

I wish that one would have been a quick thinker and sold you a ticket and told you to enjoy the movie.

Hee Hee.

mrsupole - Their minds may already have been destroyed by video gaming anyway...

reforminggeek - I would have kept the tickets and used them when the movie does come out...

Tee hee! Awesome! This post totally made my day :) Hey, thanks for popping by my blog today and commenting. It has been too long since we last corresponded. I'm embarrassed to say that I have no idea how my blog ended up the way it did. My brother and friends said I've become a sell out. :(

Christine - I has been a long time. The gnomes feel quite put out!

monica - Haha. Never happened...all MWTS's are movie geeks anyway. They secretly wanted to see it with me...
